Wow! Momo Plans To Open 100 Outlets Across India
Love momos? Here’s a bit of news you can feast on: Wow! Momo, a chain specialising in the delicious treats is planning to expand its footprint across India in the coming year.
All About Wow! Momo
Wow! Momo is a Kolkata based start-up, established in 2008. In 2015, Wow! Momos received a $16 million investment from the Indian Angel Network. Its menu includes chicken momos, fish steamed momos, paneer fried momos, mushroom fried momos as well as momo burgers , chicken thukpas and veggie thukpas.
Over the past few months, Wow! Momo opened five outlets in five metro stations across Kolkata; the Kalighat, Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Teaji, Masterda Sujrya Sen and Kavi Nazrul all now have their very own Wow! Momo kiosk.
Additionally, the brand recently took its wonderful momos to Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi, Delhi, NCR, Coimbatore and Thrissur.
It has now announced that it plans to launch an additional 50 outlets in Kolkata and 100 across India over the next few years.
