Will The Next Android Operating System Be Called ‘Nutella’?
So Android has this fun habit of naming its operating systems after sweet treats. There’s already the cupcake, the lollipop, the jelly bean and the marshmallow. Now, rumours are abound about the awaited Android 7.0 which has mysteriously being codenamed ‘Android N’ .
What Does The N Stand For?
Considering Google’s trend of naming the OS’ after sweets, chocolate lovers across the world are hoping the latest version will be called ‘Nutella‘.
Other speculations include Nesquik (after all, Nestle allowed them to name the Android 4.4 Kit Kas), Nougat, Nutty, Nutmeg or – hilariously – Naan.
When Will We Find Out?
Most people are suggesting that the official Android N release will be in May. Aside from the name, people are speculating about the features of the latest update; while some say it may have a multi display window, others are convinced that it will have a new type of messaging platform.
