Watch: Restaurant Owner Throws Hot Oil On Customer Over Food Dispute

on

This certainly is a crazy world we’re living in. A 29-year-old man in Mumbai was taken to the hospital with severe burns after a restaurant owner threw hot oil at him following an argument over the taste and cost of the food served and the whole thing was caught on camera.

The burn victim had apparently gone to the Chinese joint with a few friends. However, he made a scene about the taste of the food and later on, had a problem with the bill. That’s when things got heated.

In the video you can see the customer throwing an object at the staff, who retaliated by throwing hot oil at him. This resulted in severe burns on the customer’s face.

According to police, the incident took place at Manoj Koliwada Chinese corner located in Venus Chowk of Ulhasnagar. An officer said, “A case has been registered against the eatery owner and the staff under sections 323, 324, 504 and 34 of IPC. We have recovered a CCTV footage from the area, which clearly shows the accused throwing hot oil on the victim.”

It looks like the customer isn’t always right.
