on

Vivek Oberoi has been long missing from the celluloid and it’s about time the Grand Masti actor came back, which he’s all set to do as the lead in Ram Gopal Varma’s next directorial ‘Rai’.

The actor who was last seen playing a negative role in Krrish 3 will now be seen as famously infamous underworld don Muthappa Rai. Oberoi has reportedly gone a physical transformation to carry off the role of Rai.

“Vivek will be shortlisting nutritionists and trainers to help him with his body transformation since it has to be done under experts supervision. In order to attain the desired number, he will also get into an intense workout regime and will be following a special customized diet suggested by the nutritionists”, a source disclosed.ramgopalvarma-muthappa-mos_072915013250

Lose Some Gain Some

The actor, who reportedly started his workout and diet, will put on approximately 10kgs to play present day Muthappa, followed by an 18kg weight loss for the don’s younger self.

“Yes, I will need to undergo a full body transformation as that is what the role requires. I will have to lose a significant amount of weight and then again gain weight for several portions. Of course, I will be doing this under the supervision of a nutritionist and a certified trainer”, the actor confirmed.

“As an actor I always give what a role requires and this role requires me to look a certain way. In real-life-based movie you need to look like the character. People should relate to your character even physically. I definitely do not encourage this as a lifestyle example but I’m doing it, as that is what the role requires. But I always advise people to be healthy and stay fit.”, he added.vivek-oberoi-play-muthappa-rai-ram-gopal-varmas-rai-former-don-launch-its-first-look-may
