Viacom 18’s newest venture is an all-new café called FLYP@MTV. The café is an extension of their MTV brand aimed at the youth and is set to launch in New Delhi on December 12th with 10 more cafes soon to follow around the country within the next 5 years. Viacom will be partnering with Funbar Hospitality, who will be responsible for handling the operations and logistics of the cafe.
FLYP@MTV will feature entertainment targeted at the youth and will provide an opportunity to further explore the MTV brand. It will feature a curated list of MTV-centric activities and an exclusive MTV immersive museum, a unique virtual museum featuring the Occulus and controllers to thumb through the MTV archives. The cafe will also provide a unique shopping experience with MTV merchandise available to be purchased at the MTV shop. FLYP@MTV’s menu will be curated by celebrity chef Ranveer Brar, exclusively for the café.
The café will feature plenty of entertainment and activities with an exclusive recording studio available to the guests. It will also feature stand-up comedy shows and activities aimed at creating an atmosphere representing the MTV brand.
