UPDATE: We Finally Know What IHOP Is Changing Its Name To

Last week we heard that IHOP was planning on changing its name to IHOB, but we had no idea what the ‘B’ would stand for. Previously, IHOP stood for International House of Pancakes, so many of us safely assumed that they would stick with the breakfast food theme, with a popular theme emerging that the B would stand for breakfast.

However, IHOP (IHOB, my bad) will be changing its name to International House Of Burgers (what!!).

While some loyal IHOP fans were hoping against hope that it was a joke, that seems to not be the case with new signs going up and the company deleting their IHOP Twitter account and changing it to IHOB (once it’s on social media we know it’s official).

Of course, the reigning Twitter queen, Wendy’s, just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get some banter in.

Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.
