This sounds like a strange, unusual flavor combination. Most probably only for tomato-lovers, but tasty nonetheless! This combination is a tad chewy, a bit sweet! To try it, coat tomatoes with chocolate, chill in the fridge, then devour!

Chocolate Covered Brocolli

Healthy, and delicious. Steam brocolli till its cooked, but crispy. Let it cool, cover in dark chocolate and chill. The flavor palette is interesting as the brocolli’s mild flavor comes alive with the strength and flavor of the dark chocolate. For those daring enough to try this, there’s an aded benefit! This treat will instantly lift your spirits as both dark chocolate and brocolli are super energising foods.

White Chocolate and Basil

Sounds far fetched, we agree. But this white chocolate and basil mousse is pretty delicious!

Combine cream and torn basil leaves and stalks in a saucepan. Boil, and let it infuse for a while. Discard the basil and re-heat the cream to a simmer. Remove the cream from the heat and immediately tip in the chocolate. Leave for a few mins to melt, then stir until smooth. Pour the mixture into four serving glasses and chill. In another saucepan, mix caster sugar and balsamic vinegar with water and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has reduced by half. Once its cooled, pour it over strawberries and allow to soak for at least 1 hr. Spoon the balsamic strawberries over the cream and decorate with basil.
