We saw a unicorn cafe, unicorn cakes, and even unicorn toast. Meet the latest addition to the spectrum of rainbow and unicorn foods – the unicorn hot chocolate. Yes, fluffy unicorn hot chocolate exists and it is a fairytale come true.
Created by Joanna Czikalla – owner of dessert parlor Crème and Sugar in Anaheim, California – the unicorn hot chocolate is the perfect winter drink. This piping hot christmas concoction is made with white hot chocolate that’s dyed pink and topped off with colorful marshmallows and a mixture of sprinkles. According to Joanna, the drink tastes mostly of white chocolate with a hint of vanilla, though it looks like it would taste like rainbows!
Joanna told Cosmopolitan that she buys various sprinkles like edible pearls and edible glitter in bulk, and then makes her own special Unicorn Mix that she uses to top off her treats. The range of unicorn treats available at Crème and Sugar go beyond the hot chocolate to include an entire secret menu dedicated to the delightful treats. You can jump into and indulge in a colorful world of unicorn cake, unicorn shakes, unicorn drops and unicorn bark to name a few. Sounds like the best secret menu ever!
