Uber Eats Is Planning To Start Operations In Jaipur & Kochi

on

After successfully starting its operations in 8 major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, Uber Eats is now expanding its portfolio pan-India. According to a statement by the company, the food delivery is now planning to step foot in Jaipur and Kochi later this month in association with over 500 restaurants, stepping up its tally to 10 cities.

“We are all set to hit a milestone of 10 cities in 10 months. Jaipur and Kochi are known for their rich culinary delights and we are excited to make food ordering quick, easy and reliable here,” said Bhavik Rathod, Head of Uber Eats India.

Interestingly, Indian food ordering and delivery app, Swiggy too recently announced its arrival in Jaipur. Guess it’s party time in the Pink City!

Uber Eats forayed into the Indian Market in May 2017 with Mumbai as its first destination. The service has since branched out to Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune with a colossal network of over 7,000 restaurants across all these cities. Internationally, Uber Eats, which started back in 2014 as a small delivery platform in Los Angeles, is present in over 30 countries and more than 200 cities. A count that is only growing with the passing years.
