TravelKhana.com, a food ordering platform for train travellers has announced that it is planning to expand its network in South India. This comes after being met with success in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.
TravelKhana, which was started in 2012, allows users to make food bookings online or via the TravelKhana app.
The TravelKhana menu has a range of cuisines from North Indian to Chinese to Mughalai to Hyderabadi. Through the service, travellers can enjoy freshly prepared food as the travel.
While the platform already has a presence in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it recently announced that it will be expanding its presence by adding 20 new stations to its South Indian reach.
Pushpinder Singh, Co-Founder & CEO, TravelKhana commented, “TravelKhana has garnered a niche market and acts as a preferred food distributor that offers immense choice to its consumers. By expanding our network in the southern part of the country, we now aim to tap maximum travellers on these routes and offer extensive cuisine choices to them, ensuring a delightful travel experience.”
