Tinder And Zomato Have Tied Up To Create Tinderlicious: A Zomato Collection That Tells You Where To Take Your Match This Valentine’s Day

Tinder is becoming something big in India; more and more singles are joining the swipe right/swipe left concept to find both casual and serious relationships.

In the food technology space, restaurant finding, ordering and now booking platform Zomato is extremely popular; thousands of foodies flock to it daily to fulfil all their hungry needs.

So, in the romantic month of February, with Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s unsurprising that the two tech platforms have teamed up to create ‘Tinderlicious’ ; a Zomato Collection that will provide users with ideas on the best eateries to take their dates on Valentine’s Day.

A Brief About Zomato Collections

Zomato launched its ‘Collection’ concept in May 2015. Essentially, Zomato curates a list of the best restaurants each city offers under certain categories such as ‘Veggie Friendly’ or ‘Sunday Brunches‘ or ‘Healthy Eating’.

The feature is immensely popular among foodies who use it to discover new restaurants and the restaurants best suited for their tastes.

Recognising that many dates involve a visit to a restaurant, Zomato and Tinder came together to create the Tinderlicious Collection for Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata respectively.

“We are really kicked about this Collection, as it involves the best restaurants and bars you can find in a city. At the end of the day, the dining experience has to be seamless and that’s what we’ve tried here. Zomato is all about awesome food and we couldn’t think of anyone else other than Tinder for this partnership,” said Pramod Rao, the senior vice president for growth of Zomato said to the Daily News Analysis.

Additionally, Zomato revealed that last year, they saw a marked rise in the amount of clicks to the ‘Romantic Collection’ page in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day.

What say; are you going to look to these two teams to choose a date spot for Valentine’s Day?
