19th May was significant and joyous day for Prince Harry and the actor Meghan Markle as they tied the knot in the presence of friends and family. The JW Marriott Hotels too celebrated the royal wedding with pomp and most importantly live-screening it!

The Royal Wedding At JW Marriott

“We were happy to share in the excitement across the world for the royal wedding,” said Bruce Ryde, Vice President Brand and Marketing APAC, Marriott International. “Weddings are joyous and momentous occasions for celebration, and JW Marriott hotels have always been favourite wedding destinations for couples and their families. Our properties offer sophisticated venues and settings complemented by thoughtfully crafted wedding packages. This is supported by the brand’s dedication to treating guests exceptionally through the JW Treatment, which believes that it takes people who truly love what they do to create enriching experiences.”

The three hotels that celebrated the royal wedding were, JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa and JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa. Along with the mesmerising décor across the hotels, the Aerocity property had a lovely buffet along with the live-streaming of the wedding on 11 screens. They picked the largest event spaces in the city which was the Grand Crystal ballroom spreading across 11,958-square feet and seating up to 1,350 guests.

A grand Chhappan Bhog of sweets was organised at JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa for the occasion showcasing 56 desserts. “Rajasthan is the ideal place to plan royal marriages. A treasure trove of royal venues for royal weddings, JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa beckons the romantic at heart to enter into a lifetime bond in an exotic locale” said General Manager Chandrashekhar Joshi.

Lastly, the majestic Himalayas providing a spectacular view, apt for a royal wedding, or screening it for that matter, the JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa too made for a great place for organising the event. The audience enjoyed the high-tea put together by the hotel’s Executive Chef and tea expert.
