A party was held at the Nariman Point outlet of The Sassy Spoon on the 6th of December. The gourmet restaurant has completed six years and is the brainchild of Rachel Goenka. To attend this landmark event, the who’s who of the culinary world were present which includes Ranveer Brar, Farzana Contractor, Gaurav Dabrai, Rishad Nathani, Neeti Goel, Romil Ratra, Prashant Issar, Chirag Maru, Tanai Shirali and Rizwan Amlani.

“I took the plunge 6 years ago and embarked on a culinary journey. I was living my dream and following my passion! The fact that we have made it this far is truly a testament to the hard work and dedication of this amazing team of ours and our commitment to constantly put our best plate forward” said Rachel Goenka, Founder and CEO, The Chocolate Spoon Company. The guests could be seen enjoying the music, having conversations and enjoying the food from the six year old restaurant.
For the occasion, The Sassy Spoon team had put up a lavish menu featuring some of their new additions to the menu like Amaranth & Mascarpone Tart with Tomato Chilli Jam. The delicacies also included Beetroot Macaron topped with Goat Cheese Cream & Truffle Oil, Sundried Tomato Tapenade with Warm Camembert. The guests also got to indulge in meaty delights like Cajun Spiced Prawns with Crusty French Bread, Smoked Salmon Crostini with Stracciatella Cheese & Red Wine Poached Pears along with desserts like Mini Eclairs, Lemon Meringue Tart, Champagne Macarons.
