Texas Chicken Announces Plans To Enter The Indian Market

Texas Chicken, an American chain of fast food restaurants (known as Church’s Chicken) has announced plans to enter the Indian market. This comes after the brand announced that it will be uniting its Middle East/Black Sea Basin and its Asia Pacific offices under one tea,.

Church’s Chicken, which is known as Texas Chicken in the international market began in 1952 and is the world’s fourth largest chicken restaurant chain.

At present, it has over 1700 locations in 25 countries and, as well as chicken, serves fried okra, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and sandwiches.

Texas Chicken To Come To India

The brand hinted at plans to enter the Indian market when it released a statement saying it was consolidating its Middle East, Black Sea Basin and Asia Pacific Business units.

“The power unleashed by bringing both regions under one umbrella allows us to fully support continued expansion with field-based leadership and quicker decision making on behalf of our franchise affiliates,” said Tony Moralejo, the executive Vice President of international business and global development.

Amar Sandhu will assume the VP position for Texas Chicken in the region.
