Swiggy, a popular food ordering and delivery platform in India has teamed up with Emojifi to create special food emojis which people can use to explore and convey their different food moods. Through the new feature, Swiggy hopes to appeal to millenials.

The Swiggy Foodiemojis include animated stickers which depict food related themes like ‘hungry’, ‘so spicy’, ‘heavenly’, ‘food is BAE’ and ‘order like a boss’.
“Visuals in communication capture a host of emotions and thoughts. The Swiggy Foodiemojis will help millennials express their thoughts through the language of food. It is a fun way to express your cravings and moods where words fall flat. Swiggy stickers will punctuate conversations on messaging apps, making them fun, visual and animated,” said Srivats TS, VP Marketing, Swiggy.

How It Works
To use the stickers, users can download the emojji app on their phones and then download the Swiggy Foodieomojis. The stickers can be used across chat apps like WhatsaPp, Facebook messenger, Google Hangout and Hike.
Additionally, the app will provide live suggestions while a user is typing.
