Sushi Food Hybrids Are The New Thing

So far, 2016 has told us that food is not just for eating, but also for the perfect Instagram picture. It’s clear that most of these new creations and concoctions are just to capture that perfect Instagram shot, which is then shared and viewed by millions all over the world. But it might be getting a little ridiculous.

Not that that’s stopping them anytime soon.

We’ve had rainbows taking over all kinds of food from bagels to donuts to coffee. Then the galaxy effect, which was started by a baker on cakes and then transferred onto everything you love. And it just goes on and on and on till the world finds something else to keep them busy.

Now it’s sushi. 

Technically, sushi is “a Japanese dish consisting of small balls or rolls of vinegar-flavoured cold rice served with a garnish of vegetables, egg, or raw seafood.” And also to be eaten in one bite. If you’ve ever eaten sushi, you’ll notice that each piece of sushi is bite sized so that you can eat one at a time. But with these new sushi inventions, bite sized has been thrown out the window.

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to sushi donuts. Since then, more have surfaced.
