No, it’s not another controversial Pepsi gig featuring a Jenner, but Pepsi Fire is the beverage giant’s legit new soda variant. That’s right, popping open a chilled bottle of Pepsi this summer will not be short of guzzling down a fiery flavoured soda. Because, why not. Don’t worry, this does not mean that you’ll have to mull you soda before drinking it, here’s what Pepsi Fire is all about.

The limited edition summer drink will pack a somewhat fiery taste in every sip with flavor notes of cinnamon. Pepsi Fire will be available in individual 20-ounce bottles and 12 packs of 12 ounce cans across stores in the USA starting May 22, and as the company suggests “get it while it’s hot” as the soda will be on shelves for just about eight weeks. However, there will be more than one way to enjoy this new cola as all participating 7-Eleven Slurpee machines will feature Pepsi Fire Slurpees through the last week of June.

Lauren Cohen, Pepsi’s marketing director said in a press release, “Summer is one of the most anticipated times of the year, and Pepsi Fire is going to ignite this season with an unconventional and spicy kick to our classic cola taste.” So, will you be sipping on some chilled fizzy fire this season?
