A lot of these stars took to odd jobs, and believe it or not but a large number of them were even a part of the wait staff at restaurants. The Miss Congeniality actor was not just a waitress. She worked as a hostess, bartender, and waitress during her non-starry days. Actor and (then) colleague Jennifer Coolidge recalls Bullock as a favorite at the restaurants. “She was actually the hostess and I was the cocktail waitress. She ended up getting my shifts because I had such bad attendance,” Coolidge told The Talk.
