Starbucks Just Launched Kombucha In 6 Different Varieties

on

With all the latest food trends flying by on your newsfeed, it can be tough to keep track of all the latest fads. Kombucha (fermented tea, just in case you didn’t) is all the rage these days, and now it has truly gone mainstream after a financial endorsement from Starbucks. Although there isn’t currently a “Starbucks-branded” kombucha, the company is launching 6 different varieties of kombucha flavors under the Evolution Fresh label.

The Evolution Fresh Organic Kombucha combines an artisanal-tea base of either Congou black tea, yerba mate, pu’erh black tea, green tea, or matcha with cold-pressed juice in six varieties: Ginger Lemon Honeycrisp, Mango Pineapple, Ginger Greens, Spicy Greens, Pink Grapefruit, and Turmeric Pineapple Coconut.

Initially, you’ll be able to find the Evolution Fresh Organic Kombucha at grocery and natural food stores in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, San Diego, and Seattle. And in spring the drink will be launched in additional cities.

“We know our consumers are looking for beverages with functional benefits,” said brand president Ryan Ziegelmann, “and Evolution Fresh Organic Kombucha is just what they are asking for—a delicious and refreshing pick-me-up that also supports digestive wellness.” So, if you’ve got some kombucha cravings (or, just want to try it out), you know where to find it!
