Shizusan Shophouse & Bar Hosts The Travelling Dim Sum Festival

on

After hosting many stellar Travelling Food Festivals, Shizusan is back with another that is sure to be a winner and dim sum (yes, that just happened). Indulge in 11 exquisite dim sums from across the Orient, including for the first time at Shizusan a dessert dim sum.

The festival showcases the delicate art of dim sum making and presents these delicious parcels in all their glory with the menu comprising Baos, Moneybags, Pot Sticklers, Wantons & Sui Mai. Each is an explosion of flavour with unique combinations such as Thai Chicken & Water chestnut Dim Sum with coconut curry; Vietnamese Special Spinach, Dates & Cashewnut Dumplings with nuts & mala oil; Japanese Seafood Sui Mai with tuna ceviche; Japanese Pan Fried Asparagus Rice Baozi with fragrant rice and veggies and Malaysian Tung Tong Peanut Moneybags filled with curried veggies in peanut sauce.

The picture-perfect Chinese Activated Charcoal & Crab Xiao Long Bao stuffed with steaming hot pho and resembles the symbol of yin-yang and tastes even better than it looks, while the dessert dim sum – Thai Green Apple Pie Moneybags with palm sugar and caramel sauce adds an element of innovation and gives the diners something exciting.

In Cantonese, “dim sum” literally means “to touch your heart” and the culinary wizards from the F&B vertical of Phoenix Mills are doing just that with this Travelling Dim sum festival at Shizusan.
