Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru is hosting ‘Capri to Calabria’, a delightful southern Italian food festival at its fine-dining Mediterranean restaurant, Caprese.
The week-long food festival will introduce food connoisseurs to delectable fresh pastas, pickled meats, hearty vegetable dishes and seafood specialties that the region is known for. Chef Luigi Ferraro, a native of Italy will bring in the authentic flavours of Calabria and conduct cooking shows, wine-paired dinners and Calabria loaded brunches through the week. Having served in global kitchens, Chef Luigi Ferraro comes to Bengaluru from Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel, New Delhi to tantalize your taste buds and create a dining experience like never before.
A specially curated menu will feature signature dishes, such as Seabass with saffron potatoes, Tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano, Textures of the lamb and Tartufo ice cream of Pizzo Calabro to name a few.
