Shangri-La Celebrates Independence Day With Cake For A Cause!

This Independence Day, how about you celebrate a good cause? That’s exactly what Shangri-La had in mind for the 71st Independence Day celebrations. After the overwhelming success of last year’s Independence Day celebrations, Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru in collaboration with IKSHA Foundation will showcase a 71 feet long cake on 15th August 2017, as a tribute to the nation’s 71st year of Independence.

In honour of the occasion, The Lobby Lounge at the hotel will transform into a huge plate where the pastry team will display a 71 feet long cake, nothing short of an exquisite masterpiece.

Amidst the celebrations, Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru is also working towards enabling underprivileged children diagnosed with eye cancer by donating the proceeds from the sale of the cake to IKSHA Foundation that works for the welfare of these children. Additionally, one can also enjoy 20% off on F&B outlets at Shangri-La by furnishing the proof of their cake purchase.
