Sanjeev Kapoor, Saransh Goila, & Amrita Raichand Are Looking For India’s First Ever Digital Chef

on

Move over gourmands, it’s the digital era and technology is here to take over the cooking space as well. After crowning numerous master chefs, popular celebrity chefs Sanjeev Kapoor, Saransh Goila, and Amrita Raichand are now looking for India’s first ever ‘Digital Chef’. The trio will be seen judging an upcoming web food reality show called India’s Digital Chef.

About The Show

Produced by digital entertainment network One Digital Entertainment, the series will have 15 episodes, during which 16 shortlisted contestants will battle it out for the unique title of India’s Digital Chef.

“It’s great to have teamed up with One Digital Entertainment for the hunt of the ‘India’s Digital Chef’. We are looking for the hidden, talented, creative and the next big chef of India. The digital platform is democratic and [there is] no better way to give the true chefs a real chance,” said Kapoor.

Going by the show’s teaser, which shows Chef Goila whipping up a healthy homemade quinoa pizza, it seems like the series will shine the spotlight on healthy eating as well. “Be it a healthy version of rice or some sweet potato fries, healthy pizzas or whole wheat cookies, this will be your one-stop destination for healthy and delectable recipes”, reads the show’s official website, clarifying our doubt.

Mummy Ka Magic host Raichand explains her perspective on the central theme of the show, saying “Health and nutrition as a subject is very close to my heart which is why I am exuberant to be able to judge some healthy recipes coming our way.”

Meanwhile, Goila, who was recently on the panel of judges for MasterChef Australia, added that it’s an honor for him to be a part of IDC’s journey. “I started my journey through a challenge seven years back and seven years later, I have an opportunity to find young people who are active digitally.

The show will go on air by the end of August. Check out the teaser featuring Kapoor and Goila below.
