The Rock & Team Set The Guinness World Record With The “Largest Layered Dip”

on

It’s the first Super Bowl weekend and we’re just getting started with the snacks, chip, and dip binge! And adding to all the Super Bowl food is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his team of chefs at his LA-based studio, Seven Bucks, who layered up a colossal dip in commemoration of the football season. And not just any colossal team, the chefs put together a record breaking 7 layer dip in a 100-gallon aquarium! Because, The Rock.

To beat the world record, the team required at least 4 layers in the dips, but not ones to take any chance; they went all the way for a 7-layer masterpiece. The final outcome weighed a whopping 540 pounds, and was officially bestowed with the title of “Largest Layered Dip”.

Sticking to the Guinness World Records guidelines, which clearly define that not a single ounce of any record-breaking dish should be wasted, the delicious dip was donated to the Midnight Mission Homeless Shelter in Los Angeles after it received the world record certificate.

Watch the full process of creating the magnanimous dip below.
