on

Get ready to tuck into sumptuous Chinese delicacies at Hakkasan and revel in the festivities as you treat your loved ones for something special. Brighten up their Diwali with The Golden Week celebration at this much loved restaurant in Mumbai. With the glitterati in the kitchen that’ll bring out eye-catching dishes curated by Chef Raymond Wong, you’d walk away with memories and sparklers.

Paint The Town In Gold

“We know from experience that guests enjoy eye-catching and delicious dishes that are slightly out-there and unusual, but at the same time Instagram-worthy. Indians are known to be grandiose and extravagant, especially during celebrations. However the new age young consumers are looking for substance with style. Our Golden Week menu is an amalgamation of this, where we’ve combined indulgent ingredients and finest of produce with an equal focus on style and presentation,” says Chef Raymond.

Get ready for some golden dishes by Hakkasan that features a Golden Week dim sum trio decorated with flourishes of gold – a crispy lamb puff dusted with gold, crab dumpling garnished with gold caviar and gold flecked hargau. Delve into a bite sized rendition of Hakkasan’s signature Peking duck topped with braised quail egg or the Golden week seafood sesame ball, a charcoal rice dim sum coated with sesame seeds, filled with a seafood stock.

Coming to the mains, one can devour Crispy tofu with Szechuan pepper and Kashmiri chilli and the Mapo style stewed Indian eggplant and asparagus. There’s also some festive dishes like Steamed Chilean sea bass fillet with mustard saffron sauce or the Spicy crab meat fried rice with Madras curry powder. Wash down the elaborate feast with a smashing Golden Era cocktail made with Angostura Reserva rum, fennel, lemon and Prosecco.

End your spectacular meal with a Matcha pot, a celebratory dessert with strawberry compote, matcha croutons and is garnished with rose petals. So with a lot of delectable food to look forward to, make a trip down to Hakkasan during the Diwali week.
