Squeaking Good

Instructions
  1. Sauté the onion in the butter and oil for five minutes.
  2. Stir in the carrots and cabbage.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss for five minutes.
  5. Stir in the mashed potatoes and, using a spoon, shaped the mixture into rough patties.
  6. Press the patty down into the pan until it starts making squeaking sounds.
  7. Flip the patty and cook the other side for five minutes.
  8. Take out of the skillet and serve.
