Ugadi Special Minapa Sunni Undalu
You can make Minapa Sunni Undalu with Udad Dal with or without the skin. I chose to make it with split udad dal with skin as I love the texture and taste that it imparts.

Instructions
  1. Dry roast the udad dal till it becomes golden brown.
  2. In a large steel plate spread the udad dal for 15 minutes to tool.
  3. Then grind the udad dal along with the sugar or jaggery to a fine powder.
  4. Next Melt the ghee.
  5. Then add the ghee slowly to the udad dal powder.
  6. Slowly mix well to form a crumbly texture.
  7. Then shape into 10-12 equal sized balls and store in a airtight container.
