Set the oven on preheat at 325 degrees.
Mix the kasha along with egg, salt and pepper.
Transfer the mixture into a skillet and toast it in the oven for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat some butter and add onions.
Once the kasha is toasted, adds chunks of it to three cups of salted boiling water.
Give it a stir, reduce heat and let the kasha cook for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile boil the pasta in salted water till al dente.
Give the kasha a stir with a fork and add to the pasta along with onions.
Add butter, salt and pepper and mix.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
