The Faraway Tree Pop Biscuits Recipe

on

We’ve been sharing a lot of recipes from Enid Blyton’s adventure, mystery and boarding school books. Today, we turn our attention to her fantasy stories, one of our favourites is ‘The Faraway Tree’. In it, three children; Jo, Bessie and Fanny stumble upon The Enchanted Wood which is the home of The Faraway Tree. Every few days, The Faraway Tree has a new world at the top of it including the ‘Land of Do As You Please’ and the ‘Land OF Gifts’.

The Faraway Tree is also home to a variety of characters including Moon-Face, Silky and the Saucepan Man.

Pop Tarts In The Faraway Tree Series

When the children first meet Silky and Moon-Face, they get to try Pop Biscuits which explode in their mouths to dissolve into a pool of honey; doesn’t that sound delicious?

Here’s a recipe inspired by Pop-Tarts; have them as a snack to help you get through your Monday blues!
