Instructions
  1. Soak the soya flakes in water for about 5 minutes.
  2. Boil Bengal gram, 50-gram soya flakes, finely chopped carrots and beans for 5 minutes.
  3. Add un-soaked flakes, chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilies and garam masala to the above. Grind into paste.
  4. Add oatmeal, oil, salt and remaining spices. Make a paste and let it stand for 1 hour.
  5. Grease your hands. Skew the mix on skewers and grill in the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes at 220 C, occasionally turning them, to evenly brown on all sides.
  6. Serve hot with spring onions and tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
