Snow White Gooseberry Pie Recipe

No matter how many new Disney movies come out, there will always be classics that we turn back to time and time again. On our favourite classics list? Beauty and the Best, The Lion King and Snow White. Snow White remains one of our firm favourites – who doesn’t love talking birds and sleepy dwarves?

Snow White herself also fascinates us with her talent for singing, dancing and baking. One particular scene that stuck with us was when she was baking a gooseberry pie.

Snow White’s Gooseberry Pie

While she bakes, Snow White sings ‘Someday My Prince’ will come. Her little birdie helpers also have their hand in baking – one flours the dough while another two scratch creases into the pie.

You may not have little birdie helpers, but if you want to try your hand at a gooseberry pie this weekend, you could rope in your friends and family. Then, eat the benefits as a dessert or tea time snack.
