Sometimes chicken needs a something extra to bring out its juicy flavours. What we have in this recipe is the addition of few ingredients which combines with the delicious sauce to bring out the best out of the chicken. To put it in simpler terms, the chicken gets smothered with love and attention and the delicious cream based sauce helps in giving the traditional chicken noodle dish an extra kick in the pants.
Steak 'em up
Chicken gets a little smothered
Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package. Keep the noodles warm.
Add paprika, dried thyme, salt and pepper to a small bowl and mix well
Add butter to a large pan over medium heat
Add the onions and mushrooms and saute them for around 8-10 minutes or until they become tender
Add the garlic and paprika mixture to the onions and saute will for 2 minutes
Add the cream of mushroom soup and milk and bring to a boil
Add the chicken pieces to the mixture
Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until the chicken is well heated up
Add the parsley to the sauce
For serving, pour this chicken sauce over the noodles and serve hot
