Ingredients
6
cups
powdered sugar
2
cups
unsalted butter
2
tsp
vanilla extract
2-4
tbsp
heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Sift the powdered sugar using a fine sieve.
Bring the butter to room temperature and then whisk it in a stand mixer till it becomes creamy.
On low speed incorporate the icing sugar by adding one cup at a time.
Once all the sugar is incorporated, turn the speed to medium and continue whisking for 3 minutes.
Now add vanilla at the same speed along with 2 tbsp of cream.
Keep adding more cream till you reach a desired consistency and whip for 5 more minutes.
Layer the cake and frost it with this delicious frosting.
