Instructions
  1. Drain the lentils and put it into a blender along with green chillies, pepper, curry leaves and ginger and a little water.
  2. Blend till you get a batter but it should not be too thin.
  3. Mix in the salt and then equal sized vadas out of the batter making a whole in the center of each one.
  4. Heat oil in a wok and fry the wadas in batches.
  5. Once the wada develops a golden brown colour, remove it from the oil onto a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve the wadas hot with coconut chutney.
