Shrimp Fried Rice

Making use of leftover rice is one of the most popular and ingenious ways of whipping up an easy yet absolutely delicious meal. Fried rice is one such preparation that involves stepping up regular leftover steamed rice. The shrimp fried rice is easy to make, made simpler is you’re using leftover or pre-cooked rice. Just throw in some rice, shrimps, sauces, and veggies and stir fry to perfection. Yep, that’s how simple it is! So get your sauces out and stir up a storm with this delicious fried rice!

Instructions
  1. In a saucepan bring water to a boil.
  2. Add rice and stir. Now reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Set aside and allow rice to cool.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok for 2 minutes. When the skillet or wok is hot, pour in vegetable oil, bean sprouts and onions. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Mix in cooled rice and shrimp and cook for another 3 minutes. Stirring constantly.
  5. Mix in green onions, eggs, salt, pepper, soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for another 4 minutes, stirring continuously, until eggs are cooked and everything is blended evenly.
