Instructions
  1. Begin by putting the oven on preheat at 350°F.
  2. Beat the flour, baking powder and salt together till well combined.
  3. Fold in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Using a beater, beat butter and sugar today till combined and fluffy.
  5. Add egg and lemon zest beating them in as well.
  6. After beating for about half a minute, add the flour mixture and milk, alternating between the two.
  7. Once the dough is ready, put six equal portions on it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for about 15 minutes or till golden brown and then allow to cool.
  9. Meanwhile make the icing by whisking the confectioners' sugar along with corn syrup, and one-two spoonfuls of hot water.
  10. Now add vanilla and lemon juice mixing them in till combined.
  11. Keep half of the icing aside and melt some chocolate in the microwave and add to one half of the icing.
  12. Mix it in till combined.
  13. Ice half the cookies with white icing and let it set.
  14. Now cover the other half with the chocolate icing and let it set as well.
