Ramadan’s Special Lentil Dumplings
Instructions
  1. Soak the split peas and pink lentils for an hour.
  2. Drain and coarsely grind it in a food processor.
  3. Add the red onion, garlic, ginger, salt, lemon, and cayenne pepper, and mix well.
  4. Roll them into 1-inch size balls.
  5. Heat the vegetable in a shallow pan on medium-high heat to 300° F . Gently fry the dumplings, until crisp and cooked, about 4 to 6 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with Mint Chutney
