Instructions
Method
  1. Take 500 gm Grewia Asiatica and wash nicely in water.
  2. Then in a hot pot add 500 gm Grewia Asiatica and 1 tsp Salt and stir it.
  3. Toprepare stock, add 1 tsp Turmeric powder, 2 tbsp Mustard oil, 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 1 tsp Ginger powder and mix it well.
  4. Let the Berries soften in the pot then and add water as required.
  5. Keep mixing on high flame and let it cook for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Take a big bowl and put a strainer on it.
  7. Now add the Berries from the pan and drain out the water and mash the berries.
  8. Now add the berry pulp to the drained-out juice and crush it again in the bowl.
  9. Strain it again and mash a little more.
  10. In another hot pot add 2 drop Olive oil, ½ Red Chili, ½ tsp Cumin seeds, 1 tsp Asafoetida, 1 tsp crushed Black Pepper and roast it well.
  11. Then in Pot add drained out berries Puree, ½ tsp Ginger powder, Water as required, 1 tbsp Sugar, some Thyme, Basil, and Celery leaves and stir and cook it well.
For Presentation
  1. Take 2 glasses and put some boiled berries in it.
  2. Add pinch of sugar and 3 to 4 drops of mustard oil.
  3. Take out shorba mixture from pot and pour into glass.
  4. Sprinkle Black Pepper powder and serve.
  5. Phalse Ka Shorba is ready to serve.
