Osmania Biscuit is a snack in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is named after the last ruler of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan. Osmania Biscuits are one of the most common yet very popular biscuit available in most of the local hotels, chai stalls and Irani hotels in and around Hyderabad/ Secunderabad region.

  1. Take a bowl add butter, powder sugar mix it well add milk mix it. Take another bowl
  2. add all purpose flour, custard powder, milk powder, cardamom powder, baking powder mix all of these, this mixture
  3. Add into the butter and sugar powder and mix it well like a dough. Roll the dough into a thin sheet
  4. Cut them into round shape and arrange the biscuits in the tray,
  5. Pour the saffron mixture on top of this
  6. Bake them at 180c for 15 minutes. Osmania biscuits are ready to eat.
