Canadian Sweet Delight
This Canadian variation of a sweet bar dessert is a spongy surprise for all the chocolate lovers

Instructions
  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, heat 8 tbsp of butter, cocoa and sugar until its melted
  2. Add the crumbs, coconut, almonds and egg
  3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and add the mixture into the pan
  4. Press evenly across the bottom and set aside
  5. Whip 8 tbsp of butter, confectioners’ sugar, cream, powdered milk and vanilla in a bowl
  6. Beat the mixture until it becomes smooth and fluffy
  7. Spread this mixture over the chocolate layer
  8. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the remaining butter and chocolate.
  9. Spread this mixture over the vanilla layer
  10. Refrigerate until the layers are set, for at least 4 hours
  11. Cut into squares and serve topped with some chocolate sauce (optional)
