One such truly delectable slow cooked mutton dish is stew.

Mutton Stew Recipe
A mild mutton dish with a thick vegetable gravy.
Instructions
  1. कढ़ाई में तेल गरम करके उसमें प्याज़ को धीमी आँच पर भुन लें।
  2. आँच बढ़ाकर मीट के टुकड़ों को १ मिनट के लिए भुनें।
  3. अब आँच धीमी करके कढ़ाई में मैदा डालकर अच्छी तरह मिलाँए।
  4. पानी डालकर उबालें और उबाल पर लाकर पकाँए जब तक मटन आधा पक जाए।
  5. अब फ़्रेंच बीन, आलू, गाजर, नमक, गोल मिर्च, और जायफल डालकर उबाल पर पकाँए।
  6. परोसें।
