Mushroom Momos Recipe
Mix the flour, oil and Salt in a bowl. Adding water little by little, knead it into a dough. Cover with a moist cloth and set aside.
In a wok, heat some oil, and add the garlic, spring onion whites and mushrooms. The mushrooms might release some water at first, but keep sauteing till it dries up.
Add the soy sauce, salt and pepper and keep on flame for 4-5 minutes. Remove from flame and set aside.
Take the dough and divide them into small round balls. Roll each ball into a flat little circle of a 2-3 inch diameter.
Place a tbsp of stuffing inside each circle and pleat the edges before joining them together in the middle.
When all the momos are ready, arrange them inside a steamer or pressure cooker and steam till they are perfectly cooked.
Relish the steaming hot momos with a side of spicy chilli sauce.
