Instructions
  1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic, chili and cumin and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add beans and broth and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Coarsely mash beans with potato masher.
  5. Continue boiling until thick, stirring frequently, about 20 minutes.
  6. Season to taste with lime juice, salt and pepper.
  7. Transfer to bowl; add the monterey jack cheese on top and microwave for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle with cilantro.
  9. Serve.
