  1. Lightly toast the bread slices and take off the crusts.
  2. Slice the bread horizontally from the middle and rub the untoasted sides of the work surface to make the each piece a bit thinner.
  3. Now, cut the pieces diagonally and place them on a baking sheet, untoasted side facing up.
  4. Grill the toast in the griller on medium till the toasts are golden and they curl up.
  5. Melba toast can be eaten fresh and can also be kept for later consumption within two days when kept in an airtight jar.
