Matki Amti Recipe

on

A hardcore Marathi staple, the Matki Amti is a curry dish with sprouts as the main ingredient. We’ve seen how to make a sprouts korma and this one is similar only lighter and made with sprouted moth beans (matki) instead of green gram. The dish comprises of boiled sprouts immersed in a mildly spiced (with Goda Masala) somewhat watery curry.

The final result is a dish that can be had with roti or even rice. To step up the flavor game, you could temper your matki amti with mustard seeds, green chili and curry leaves. Alternatively, you could add the same while making the amti. Here’s the recipe.1884808
