Instructions
Making The Paneer
  1. In a bowl, crumble the paneer and then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala, salt and pepper and mix well.
  2. Slice the bread however you wish – we’ve sliced it into triangles – and then spread the paneer mixture into the bread and place another slice on top.
Making The Coating Mixture
  1. In a large wide bowl, add the besan and the corn flour, mix it nicely, then add some chilli powder and some salt.
  2. Add a cup (or more) of water to make the mixture a little liquidy so that you can properly coat the bread. Then mix it all nicely.
Making The Pakodas
  1. In a pan, pour the oil – enough for shallow frying – and let it heat up.
  2. Dip the bread into the besan mixture, coating it evenly and then carefully put it into the oil.
  3. Turn it the sandwich over so that all the sides are nicely cooked, then put it aside on a plate with a paper towel to soak up the oil.
