Masala Idli Recipe
Stir fried leftover idli with chopped onions, tomatoes, and spices.

Instructions
  1. Cut the idlis into bite-sized pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and crackle the cumin seeds.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw aroma goes away.
  4. Now add the onions and sauté till the onions turn translucent or a light brown.
  5. Now add finely chopped tomatoes and green chili and sauté till the tomatoes soften.
  6. Then add a pinch of turmeric powder, red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  7. Add water and simmer till the gravy thickens, about 2 minutes.
  8. Now add the chopped idlis. Mix well.
  9. Switch off the flame and finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
  10. Serve hot.
