  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard. When it starts spluttering, add urad dal, curry leaves and red chillies. Sauté for few seconds.
  2. Add the chopped mangoes, turmeric powder and salt. Sauté for few seconds, add 1/2 cup of water and cook till the mangoes turns soft.
  3. Add the grated jaggery and mix well. Let it cook till it becomes thick.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and serve at room temperature.
