Unique Twist On Modaks!
Heat the ghee in a pan on medium flame and lightly roast the nuts in it.
Keep the roasted nuts to cool and meanwhile deseed the dates.
As soon as the nuts cool down, grind them coarsely so that they remain a chunky texture.
Now, grind the dates separately to make a paste.
Grease your hands with ghee and combine the nuts and the date paste together.
Make modaks with hands or put them in greased modak moulds to form a neat modak shape.
Demold the modaks and serve.
