Jungli mutton or jungli laal maas is a hardcore (read, spicy as burning hell) Indian mutton (lamb or goat) preparation that features juicy chunks of mutton coated in pungent desi spices including the strong likes of red chilli, cinnamon, pepper, cardamoms, and more. What’s truly special about this non-vegetarian delight is the fact that the dish wraps up a culinary storm in one simple preparation. Moreover, the jungle mutton is fairly easy to cook as well! All you require is a loaded spice cabinet and fresh meat!
Usually served with chapatti, paratha, or other flatbreads, a slightly more gravy-ed version of this meat dish can also be served with steamed rice, biryani, or pulao. So get your apron out for we’ve got a spicy meat storm to prepare!
